Train services into London Victoria are still suffering delays after a train derailed near Redhill yesterday morning.
The Gatwick Express train derailed at about 80km/h, with several passengers being treated for shock after the 5am incident.
The derailment blocked two tracks, and trains travelling on the Brighton to London route are experiencing delays.
Commuters train services in the area were running up to an hour behind schedule yesterday evening, and the tracks are not expected to be cleared for operation until later today, at the earliest.
Services run by South Central, Thameslink, Connex and the Gatwick Express are among those affected.
The derailment is being investigated by the Health and Safety Executive.
