THOMPSON Maureen On Friday, 5th April, 2019, peacefully at home in Falmouth, Cornwall after a short illness. Maureen, aged 88 years. Much loved by her family and friends. Maureen will be remembered in her family's business, Stuart Thompson Ltd, St Thomas's Rd, Chorley, and for her years at Diana Warren, Blackpool and also in the Walker family business, Padstow, Cornwall. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 16th April at 10.00 a.m. at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne, Cornwall, TR14 0BX. My lovely friend Maureen, how sad I was to hear of your passing. Seems like yesterday when we worked together at Diana Warrens and for all these years we have remained in touch. Paul and I had the pleasure of spending time with you in Cornwall, Paul was impressed that you opened a bottle of red as soon as we arrived. You always did know how to charm the gentlemen! Whenever i see coral lipstick or someone mentions chicken and green beans I will be smiling and remembering you my sweet. I won’t be able to make your service on Tuesday but I will play a little Matt Monro and toast you with a G&T. May you rest in eternal peace xxx
