SITUATION

Upper Tamar Lake is located close to the hamlet of Thurdon approximately 2 miles east of the village of Kilkhampton. The coastal town of Bude is approximately 6 miles to the south west and the surrounding area is well-established as a popular tourist destination throughout the year.

From Launceston take the B3254 road north towards Bude, proceeding through the villages of Yeolmbridge and then Whitstone, and in 14 miles at the Red Post crossroads, proceed north signposted for Kilkhampton and Bideford. Continue along for approximately 4 miles and as the road bears sharply to the left, take the right hand turning signposted Bradworthy and Upper Tamar Lake. Continue for another 2 miles, passing some holiday cottages, then take the left hand turning signposted Upper Tamar Lakes. After mile turn left again and follow the long drive up to the car park. On entering the car park, the cafe can be found on the left hand side and the property can be found beside the cafe.
