FEATURING more than 25 graduating Masters from the Falmouth School of Art – the University’s MA Show 2014 offers a chance |to view dynamic |works of art from |tomorrow’s creative |leaders.
Opening with a public preview on Tuesday, the full exhibition runs until Friday, September 6 at the University’s Falmouth Campus.
The show marks the culmination of a period of intense re-evaluation or exploration.
Divided into three exhibitions, visitors can enjoy a range of |subjects. Students from MA Art & Environment present works in response to current |environmental crises. The exhibition features pieces undertaken in |collaboration with course partners, which include: The Eden Project and Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
MA Illustration: Authorial Practice explores concepts from the social and political, to the philosophical and |biographic.
Outcomes on display feature animation, |graphic novels, |illustrated books, |installation, sign-writing and photography.
Meanwhile, MA Fine Art: Contemporary Practice features |experimentation, research and creation of the unexpected. Visitors will see original works from digital media and painting, to installation and sound art.
The show is open from 10am to 5pm from September 3 to 6.
