Dizraeli has announced a date in Cornwall as part of his new tour.

The Bristol-born and London-based multi-instrumentalist rapper is set to perform in the county in May.

Spoken word artist, activist and producer Dizraeli will be touring his new studio album, The Unmaster’ to Mount Pleasant Eco Park at Porthtowan on May 1, which forms part of his spring and summer tour.

The album, which was completed over a period of two years, during which Dizraeli experienced a mental meltdown, and continued to be funded thanks to a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.

The album speaks of madness and collapse, struggle and redemption with searing honesty, surreal humour and a soundtrack unlike anything you’ve heard. A dark, fierce hybrid of hip-hop, grime and West African percussion, it is music to make sense of an insane world.

Dizraeli is no stranger to performing to large crowds, showcasing his album live with the 47-piece Wilderness Orchestra at Wilderness Festival and in 2019 played at some of the best UK summer festivals, including Boomtown Fair, Larmer Tree and Shambala.

‘The Unmaster’ has already been nominated for 2020 Best Album in Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards , and Dizraeli has seen key support from tastemakers including Gilles Peterson, BBC 6 Music (Tom Robinson), Radio X (John Kennedy), The Line of Best Fit, UKHH, Metro Online , Amazing Radio and Worldwide FM , just to name a few.
