Set sail for The Poly for a wave of fantastic Valentine’s gifts ‘Me ‘Arty’.
From February 10 to 16 |visitors to The Poly in Falmouth will be treated to a free exhibition of work by local artists, designers and makers. Affordable, |hand-made and unusual gifts and cards will be available to buy.
Organised by Falmouth Sketch Club, the Me ‘Arty exhibition will feature |original art, prints and leather and wooden items.
Exhibition organiser and local artist Polly Tucknott said: “It’s pretty hard to find |something special to give on Valentines’ Day, but you can’t go wrong with a local, original and hand-made gift or card.”
Among the talent on show will be local watercolour artist Margaret Bickford-Smith, paintings by Carol Buller, wooden crafts from Geoffrey Beach and beautiful leather Kindle cases and notebooks from the Bookshell Bindery. 
Valentine’s Day this year falls on a Saturday, and the Me ‘Arty exhibition will be open every day in the run-up, 10am to 5pm and until 9.30pm on Tuesday and Friday. 
There will also be a special opening night event on Tuesday, February 10, from 7 to 8pm, where visitors will be treated to wine and tasty Valentines treats.
