Boconnoc Estate will host an ‘exciting and unique experience’ during the February term – and it’s for all the family.

From February 12 until the 15, visitors are invited to join Boconnoc Estate’s ranger Ian Berry on a 'deer safari' and become a Boconnoc deer ranger for the day.

Families will learn about the deer that live on the estate, and Ian will explain all about the important tasks of a deer ranger, from poo detecting to protecting the habitat of a deer.

Afterwards, children will be able to take part in craft activities in the stable yard and enjoy hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows.

Boconnoc, near Lostwithiel, is an 18th-century house is set in the largest park in Cornwall. The estate located in Lostwithiel has reportedly been featured in several film and television series, including the original ‘Poldark’ series and ‘My cousin Rachel.’

For those interested, family tickets (two adults and two children) will cost £45, adult tickets are £15, children (aged between six and 15) are £7.50 and children under five are free.
