It's spooky season at the Eden Project in Cornwall as visitors can get up close and personal with creepy crawlies for Halloween this October half term.
The Halloweden activities, running from October 26 to November 3, will immerse visitors in the extraordinary world of critters, both great and small.
Events include minibeast shows, a mega-beast safari, and a bug fair.
Visitors will have the chance to meet real-life bugs from around the globe, including Chilean tarantulas, giant African snails, and Asian forest scorpions, all provided by ethical educators ZooLab.
The bug fair will feature snail racing, spider slingshots, and bug-themed crafts.
Fearless explorers can embark on a mega-beast safari through the Rainforest Biome, following a trail into a magical world of not-so-mini beasts.
During the safari, there will be opportunities to encounter gigantic critter sculptures by Studio ROOF, bringing the world of Earth's small creatures to life amongst the jungle canopy.
Alongside the HallowEden programme, the October half term also sees the return of the Eden Project’s ice rink, where guests can skate in a magical setting.
Kate Francis, the Eden Project’s live producer, said: "October is such a beautiful time to visit, with the autumn colours setting a magical scene.
"HallowEden adds even more excitement – we’re celebrating the wonders of creepy crawlies great and small.
"It’s a fantastic way for visitors of all ages to get close to some wacky bugs and learn all about their place in our natural world while having a blast."
