FALMOUTH's Fish Factory is preparing to celebrate Halloween with a special cabaret and fancy dress party on Saturday.

The venue has been decorated by contemporary artists from across the south west, who were challenged to create an exhibition which can double up as party decorations of an all-hallowed sort.

Saturday's Creepy Crypt Party takes place in a location where soldiers' bodies are believed to have been stored at the end of World War Two.

Comedy entertainment will include Diabola Balsa, who hosted her own show in the 2012 Edinburgh Festival and is currently touring around comedy venues in the South East, and a menacing Santa witch who has inherited Enterprise Xmas. A mixture of performance types are promised, including live music.

The party will take place between 8pm and 1am, and entry is free of charge, with partygoers advised to bring their own bottles.
