Cornwall Astronomy Society are holding an event in Helston to mark the transit of Mercury.
Members from the society will be available with equipment to help visitors witness the astronomical phenomenon.
The event will be held outside at Degibna Prayer Chapel National Trust car park, Helston, on Monday, May 9 from 11.30am to 5pm.
As the event is outdoors, it will be dependent on the weather, and thanks are given to the National Trust for the use of the car park.
