Comedy Jam at Toast is returning to Falmouth with two improvisation acts from Devon, alongside the local comedians.

Headlining the event will be Sam Morgan, who teaches improvisation to young people and is part of a comedy troupe called Improperly. As part of the Comic Strip team, Sam has recently starred in two satires on UKTV’s Gold channel called Red Top, and has played John Smith in The Hunt for Tony Blair.

The other improvisation comic's suggestive stage name will be revealed on the night, which will also include a set by Graham Wilkes, who sets up regular comedy nights in Cornwall and frequently performs his latest material in Falmouth.

Sophie Sweatman, who does comedy for fun after launching a popular comedy night in 2009 that still runs in Kentish Town, will also be taking to the stage at the event.

Comedy Jam at Toast is for anyone wanting to try stand-up comedy for the first time, new comedians and those wishing to try out fresh material to a warm and encouraging audience.

MJ Walker will be returning as the regular emcee for the event at Toast in Falmouth on Monday, November 7 from 8pm.

Comedy Jam at Toast takes place on the first Monday of every month.
