January 10 marks the first anniversary of the death of muse and musician, David Bowie, and the Seven Stars in Penryn will be hosting a performance-lecture in his memory.
Hosted by the Independent School of Art, local artist and writer, Simon Persighetti will examine Penryn Bowie as a multimedia artist.
In March 2016 Simon travelled to the V&A David Bowie Is exhibition at Groningen, in the Netherlands, and recorded his responses to the sounds and visions he found there, and he later ran a three-day intensive artists workshop with artist Katie Etheridge, called David Bowie, Stargazing and Performance Writing.
Notes from Bowie Is? by Simon Persighetti, will be followed by an Independent School of Art social gathering and Bowie sound and vision mix by Adam Russell.
The free event starts at the Seven Stars in Penryn at 7.30pm on Tuesday, January 10.
