A fashion show featuring some of Cornwall's most prominent designers will be held in Devoran village hall on Wednesday, March 14.

The evening will feature a display of work from Cornish designers both new and established, and there will also be a screening of the fashion documentary 'Dior and I'.

Originally planned for Wednesday, February 28, the event has been postponed due to the hazardous weather conditions.

The designers involved are Noelle Knight of La Mode d'Elleon with her collection of tropical swimwear, Lorraine Campbell of Sidekick Boutique in Penryn who will be showing a new collection called 'Suffragette', and Christine Trewinnard with a collection of couture and bridal wear.

After the film screening and fashion show, there will be a Q&A session with the designers and Scarlet Watkins, a fabric researcher.

The documentary film gives an exclusive look at the world of fashion house Christian Dior, following designer Raf Simons as he designs his first haute couture collection.

The screening starts at 8pm with doors opening at 7.45pm, and there will be a prize for best dressed. Tickets can be booked at www.ticketsolve.crbo.com, and tickets for the cancelled event will be valid on the 14th, or can be refunded via Cornwall Riviera Box Office.
