A very special show for children of all ages and abilities is coming to Heartlands.

Singing Hands blends music and songs with Makaton signing to create a fun and engaging show.

Mums Suzanne and Tracy began the group to help develop communication potential through music, songs, games and activities following their own personal experience of using Makaton with their children.

Makaton uses signs and symbols to help people communicate and is designed to support the development of spoken language.

Suzanne and Tracy’s unique and enthusiastic approach focuses on learning language in a way that it is so much fun.

The show introduces the audience to signing with Makaton and features many of the much-loved songs from the Singing Hands DVDs and CDs.

Join in as Suzanne and Tracy jump like kangaroos in Australia, wade through the jungle in Africa looking for wild animals or as they go on a day trip to the zoo and the farm.

The show also includes some pop songs themed around the concepts of friendship and happiness.

There are two performances of the interactive, multi-sensory Makaton signed show being held at Heartlands’ Great Hall on September 29 at 11.30am and 2.30 pm. Both are fully-inclusive.

Join in as Suzanne and Tracy jump like kangaroos in Australia and wade through the jungle in Africa looking for wild animals.

Tickets are available from the Hall For Cornwall box office.
