Artist and educator Lucy Grant will lead a free lantern-making workshop for children and families at CAST on Saturday, October 27.
Taking place just as the clocks go back for the winter, this workshop will explore the seasonal significance of light and dark.
Drop into CAST between 10am and 4pm and make your own lantern to light up the winter evenings.
This workshop is free to join, with a small donation towards materials.
Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is required. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
Lucy is the artist who created Lightbox, the fabulous festival of free creative activities at CAST this summer. She also devised the Artlab creative workshops at CAST during the summer of 2017 and the Helston Model Town project in the summer of 2016.
Lucy also leads Heads & Hands, the ongoing art club for young children, which will start again at CAST on Saturday, November 3.
