Lizard Art is hosting an exhibition called The Little Picture Show at the Old Stableyard Gallery at Trelowarren near Helston.

The co-operative of 15 artists who mostly live and work on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall.

The exhibition will show the extensive variety of techniques and styles that the collective is well known for. It’s an eclectic mix that has something that everyone will like.

Over the years the Gallery has become well known for an eclectic mix of work.

The aim of the group is to provide a forum for lively discussions between artists who mostly worked in isolation. They exchange information on techniques and discuss developments within the Cornish art world, as well as issues from further afield.

The Stable Yard Gallery is housed in the original stables in the courtyard at the heart of the Trelowarren Estate.

The Little Picture Show will run over two weekends, November 16-18 and 23-25 from 10.30am - 4pm each day.

It promises to be an interesting exhibition showcasing local talent, from screen printing to oils, from seascapes to still lives.
