Students have collaborated with a local social dining company to create a memorable dining experience where diners become the chef.
Third year Creative Events Management students from Falmouth University are working with The Social Dining Network to give diners the opportunity to follow along with a live cookery demonstration by chefs, Joseph Eva and Daniel Lowry, using the latest hot steak stones to cook a locally sourced four course meal.
The creative events students, Cameron Turnbull, Vicky Nagy and Lauren Elliot are delivering Falmouth Foray as part of their final third year project, before completing the course in June.
Cameron said: "We chose an area which all three of us were passionate about and between us have intended to make an experience rather then a conventional meal, I’m particularly excited about the menu!"
The Social Dining Network is a Cornish based company which creates social experiences where people can meet over a shared love of food, and Falmouth Foray is the network’s headline event for their summer program.
The event will be delivered at the Princess Pavilions gardens on Sunday, May 29 at 7pm.
Early bird tickets cost £25 for the four course menu, and are available online at www.socialdiningnetwork.com.
