The Merlin MS Centre is bringing a taste of Spain to Hewas Water as the charity kick-starts its popular themed pop-up nights.

The Spanish themed evening, which offers al fresco dining with paella and sangria in the grounds of the centre, will have entertainment by Spanish guitarist, Francisco Mesa.

Ruth Beadle, community fundraiser, said: "Why not get a group of friends and family together to enjoy this wonderful evening, sipping sangria and watching the sun go down, while helping to raise the much needed funds for the centre?"

The Spanish themed night will be at the Merlin MS Centre in Hewas Water, near St Austell on Friday, June 24 at 7pm.

This will be followed by another two nights in the pop-up series, the first being a Caribbean curry night on Friday, July 29, and then an American themed evening on Friday, September 2.

All pop-up evenings start at 7pm at the Merlin MS Centre, and booking is essential.

Tickets cost £10 for each event and are available from the Merlin MS centre on 01726 885530, or by emailing ruth@merlinmscentre.org.uk.

The centre is an independent Cornish charity for people whose lives are affected by multiple sclerosis, a progressive neurological condition for which there is no cure. The centre provides therapies, support and advice to help people better manage their symptoms, improving health and well-being, as well as giving support to family members and loved ones.
