The Blues will be coming to Devoran Acoustic Sessions at Devoran Village Hall, 7.30pm on Saturday, where Kris Dollimore will be performing.

With a career spanning more than four decades, Kris Dollimore has graced some of the world’s greatest stages and played with many international bands and artists including The Godfathers, The Damned, Dee Dee Ramone, Johnny Thunders, Adam Ant and Del Amitri.

Going solo seven years ago, Kris has toured relentlessly, travelling the length and breadth of the UK and Europe, earning a following of loyal fans.

Kris’s guitar skills have always been admired in whichever genre he has played. Now those skills are honed to perfection and they need to be, he has chosen a field where his playing is at its most exposed.

A man, a guitar and a voice. No room for error and nowhere to hide.

With a largely acoustic repertoire, precision playing is expected and delivered.

As a contrast support will be, The Tides, a vibrant, female trio; featuring Claire Ingleheart, Angeline Morrison, and Misri Dey.

They perform rhythmic, close harmony songs and often sing a-capella, mixing indie pop and folk with their own original material.

Advance tickets at £11 are available from the Hall for Cornwall box office in person, by phone 01872 262466 or on line at www.hallforcornwall.co.uk, on the door tickets will be £12.50.
