Sylvia's Mother, A Little Bit More, When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman, The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan, Cover of the Rolling Stone..classic songs and world-wide hits.

These were the melodies and lyrics that set Dr Hook on the path to major international success. Dr Hook were one of the world's biggest bands and their raft of hit songs is legendary. And the voice behind those songs was Dennis Locorriere.

Now, for the first time, Dennis is revisiting his past. Together with a terrific band, Dennis has decided to accede to the wishes of many of the Dr H. fans and embark on a massive greatest hits tour, aptly titled "Hits and History". And it is calling in at the Hall for Cornwall on March 15.

The "Hits And History" tour sees Dennis playing only Dr Hook material, supported by very special guest Chris Norman, former lead singer and voice of Smokie, who clocked up their own substantial catalogue of hits - If You Think You Know How To Love Me, Lay Back In The Arms Of Someone, I'll Meet You At Midnight, Living Next Door To Alice, Stumblin' .

For the last four years, Dennis Locorriere, the voice of Dr Hook, has been touring the world as a hugely successful, must-see solo artist. He's drawn rave receptions wherever he's performed and in 2005 played a memorable set on the main stage at Glastonbury.

As lead vocalist with the hugely successful Dr Hook, Dennis was the recipient of more than 60 gold and platinum albums, with No 1s in more than 40 countries worldwide. Dr Hook, that happy but very edgy band, clocked up hit after pop hit and were renowned for their live work, often spending more than 300 days a year on the road.

For the "Hits And History" band, Dennis has chosen some of the best musicians around. Clive Gregson (Nancy Griffith's MD and formerly of Any Trouble) leads the band and plays guitar, keyboards, mandolin and accordion. Andy Roberts (Scaffold, Liverpool Scene, Grimms, Plainsong) joins on guitar, mandolin and vocals. Mark Griffiths (Mathews Southern Comfort, Everly Brothers, Cliff & The Shadows, Plainsong) plays bass guitar and joins on vocals. Keyboard wiz and record producer Sev Lewkovicz (Any Trouble) is the band's keyboard player who also sings and Martin Hughes (Any Trouble, Bap Kennedy) is the drummer.

A TV marketed "Hits And History" package in EMI's Sight and Sound range will be released to coincide with the tour. It will comprise an audio disc together with a DVD of all the Dr Hook hits.
