Falmouth's most iconic location is set to host an evening of dance party anthems next weekend.

The grounds of Pendennis Castle are being transformed into a live music venue for the first time since 2006, when Status Quo and Westlife performed there.

This is the first DJ based event ever to be held at the castle, and with a line-up featuring Shadow Child, Kry Wolf, HIDIN’ and Drift it looks set to be a big night.

Shadow Child has played some of the biggest stages from Ibiza to New York; Kry Wolf are recently back from their tour of Australia and New Zealand, and HIDIN’ and Drift are both local talent from the dance music scene.

The live music event is the launch party of local event management company, Canvas, who are focused on promoting venue based events and introducing new and upcoming talent, as well as securing big DJ names.

A free shuttlebus to Pendennis Castle will run to and from the moor starting from 6.30pm for the event, which is being held in the grounds of Pendennis Castle on Saturday, September 24 from 7pm to 1am.

Tickets cost £20 and are available online at residentadvisor.net, or from Clays barbers, Sessions surf shop and HFM barbers in Falmouth. FXU students union also have tickets for sale at their office and online at fxu.org.uk.
