The Falmouth Comedy Floor returns this month giving local people the chance to hone their stand-up skills.

Performing on October 16, will be Claire Rowley, a regular on the UK |comedy circuit who recently performed at the Edinburgh Festival.

Also newcomer blazing a trail across the comedy scene will be Sandi Smith, who wowed crowds at the Comic Relief event in Truro in March and has gone on to be invited into the BBC Best Newcomer contest.

Sandi has been performing regularly around the UK since her successful start earlier this year.

There is an open slot to give you the chance to try out your own comedy stylings. This open spot is named Jokie-oke by new comedian Martyn Prowse.

There are improvisation games in the style of Whose Line is It Anyway in between acts which give people a chance to join in and experience making people laugh.

Comedians and improvisation games will start with walk-on music played by Nate Valentino, also doing his unique mixing before the comedy and freshly returned from playing the Closing Down season in clubs in Ibiza.

The myrth starts from 8pm at the Falmouth Watersports Centre, entry £3
