The long established amateur group Falmouth Theatre Company is preparing to dazzle audiences once more. This time with their winter production: A Cracking Christmas!
A Cracking Christmas is billed as a bright and upbeat production jam packed with everyone’s favourite songs of the season. This musical revue is sure to be a great night out for all the family. Join the cast in a sing- a-long to ‘Deck the halls’ and ‘Here we come a Wassailing’, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful harmonies in ‘Hark the Glad Sound’.
Watch with wonder at the dancer’s troupe perform the fun and lively ‘Step into Christmas’ and stomp your feet along to ‘December the 25th’. For those less fond of the annual panto season, this is a great way to have festive fun with the family.
Falmouth Theatre Company are about to start their 90th year and have a large membership base from the local area. This year, Chairperson Veronica Spear is directing the show and has perfectly merged together both old and the new festive tunes to create this wonderfully Christmassy show. Veronica has been with Falmouth Theatre Company for 19 years and has been involved with all their productions during this time.
She said ‘This has been an interesting experience and it is quite exciting to see it develop into what will be a fun filled show. It is most certainly a festive treat for Cornwall theatre goers.’
