The final chapter in a trilogy of pantomimes featuring the Cornishman Kenwyne and his extended family, will come to the Hall for Cornwall this Christmas, with magic, music, comedy and sparkling surprises.

Kernow King will return as Kenwyne, with St Austell actor Darren Seed playing Prince George and Jennifer Clement as Princess Rose, from Tuesday, December 5, to Sunday, December 31.

Disaster has befallen the Kingdom of King Mark. Beloved Princess Rose has been struck down by an ancient curse which forces her to sleep for an eternity, the King is nowhere to be seen and sinister forces are plotting to take power. The land needs a hero, but is there anyone brave enough to take on this princely quest? Who will defeat the dreaded dragon Leatherclaw and awaken the sleeping beauty with true love’s kiss?

From the creative team behind Dick Whittington and his Mousehole Cat and Jack and the Beanstalk, Hall for Cornwall presents its own home grown production to enchant and entertain adults and children alike.

The production has been co-produced, co-written and directed by Truro resident Simon Harvey, artistic director of o-region, resident associate director of Kneehigh Theatre and artistic director of HFC Youth Theatre, with Richard Healey, the show’s musical director, associate composer for Mercury Music Developments and associate musical director for Youth Music Theatre UK.

Sleeping Beauty will play at Hall for Cornwall from December 5 to 31, with a varied schedule of morning, evening and matinee performances, a signed performance on December 8 at 7pm and an audio-described performance on December 9 at 2.30pm.

A touch tour will take place on 9 December at 1pm and there will also be a relaxed performance on Monday 11 December at 2.30pm.
