Keep calm and carry on Christmas pantomiming at the Princess Pavilion next month.

Miracle Theatre is turning the clock back to 1943 Britain with a unique version of the classic tale Aladdin.

Inspired by the era, they have gone back to basics to launch several plastic-free decoration making workshops and events, Make Do and Mend.

The theatre group has converted their pink van into a WW2 bunker and filled it with materials for making paper decorations to dress the auditorium set with for Aladdin.

All ages are invited to join the crafting sessions on Saturday, November 17 at The Moor in Falmouth and Saturday, November 24 on Lemon Quay, Truro, from 11am to enjoy recycling materials into Christmas decorations to be displayed at the theatre or enjoyed at home.

Various local making groups are getting involved within their own communities, including Falmouth Art Gallery, Dracaena Centre and Why Don’t You? Family Engagement Club.

Aladdin runs from December 7 to January 5, including two British Sign Language interpreted performances. Tickets are available at
