The award-winning television programme maker, David Parker, is giving a talk on the 12 months he spent filming the rebuilding of the greatest steam locomotive, Flying Scotsman.

David will show clips from programmes he has made about both Flying Scotsman and steam railways across the country.

It's a a joyous celebration of the Golden Age of Steam, of the men and women who saved some of the country’s most picturesque branch lines and the steam engines that run on them.

He'll share rare film of the locomotives in action, showing their power and grace and will tell true stories about the people behind these wonders.

There are some incredible stories, and see glorious and rare film of the steam engines, including Flying Scotsman.

David's talk starts at 7.30pm at The Poly in Falmouth on Friday, November 30.
