A production once declared by the Vatican to be "the most blasphemous show in the history of television" is coming to Constantine for one night only.
Mistero Buffo, by Rhum and Clay Theatre, is based on the play by Nobel prize-winner Dario Fo, for which he spent 30 years re-working well-known Bible stories to target the rich and powerful.
This production brings them up to date with current themes.
Taking place at the Tolmen Centre on Saturday, February 16 from 7.30pm, the show enjoyed a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Julian Spooner embodies over 100 characters, in what The Stage described as "an astounding performance," directed by Nicholas Pitt.
Julian, co artistic director of Rhum and Clay, has performed at the Tolmen Centre a few times already, in "A Strange Wild Song" some years ago, and then in "64 Squares".
