Waitrose Truro, built on duchy land on top of a Roman encampment; Asda Hayle, built in the shadow of the viaduct on the historic foundry site on the harbour; Sainsbury’s Penzance, on site of Heliport; farms in and around Truro, have and are becoming large housing estates – Our green fields are gradually becoming black, covered in solar panels and spreading like a disease.
We have slowly become a communist state being dictated to by central government with no redress.
We want our voices back, we live here, we should make our own decisions. Don’t let the government tell us we want 47,500 houses just to justify their immigration figures.
The balance is wrong, all current and future developers should contribute to the hospitals and sewage systems as they are increasing the population.
Cornwall is losing its distinctiveness. Help protect this county now by adopting National Park Status.
