My mother and I went to the Christmas light switch on in Mullion, despite the rain, a huge amount of people still turned out.
There were stalls and food available in Mullion Chapel and a delightful Christmas tree festival. There was also a very welcome burger stall in the centre of the village. The St Mellanus singers led the singing of carols by the Christmas tree, and Father Christmas and his helpers arrived and gave out sweets.
The lights, trees and large centre tree in the village look stunning, especially for a small village. Thank you to all the volunteers that spend time and effort putting the lights and trees up and taking them down, and thank you to Hattons Spar for giving out free mulled wine.
