The chapel anniversary was celebrated on Sunday with a large congregation enjoying the service conducted by David Peters from Carbis Bay.
Kevin Moseley, vestry steward, warmly welcomed David and read the notices at the commencement of the service. Shirley Mildren was the organist and the congregation were welcomed by Joan Willerton. Sue Piper provided the flowers. William Dale Junior read the first lessons about the Good Samaritan and David read a few verses from John. The theme throughout the service was Christian Love.
Following the service tea and coffee was served in the school room by Karen Moseley and Sylvia Curnow, after which some members and friends, 35 in all, travelled to St Aubyn Arms at Praze for a delicious lunch which was enjoyed by all.
