Abandoned animals in West Cornwall are to be given a helping hand thanks to the work of a new charity shop in Hayle.
The National Animal Welfare Trust, which already operates out of Falmouth, has expanded its number of branches to include a shop in Foundry Square.
The aim is to create better links between local people and the re-homing centre on Wheal Alfred Road.
People can drop off items to sell either at the shop or at the centre.
The charity store will be open between Tuesday and Saturday, from 11am until 4pm.
