A laser light being shone at an RNAS Culdrose helicopter flying overheard, is being investigated by police in Porthleven.
It is being classed as a “reckless act to endanger life” by officers and makes up |one of 11 crimes reported in the port last month.
At a meeting last week, Porthleven’s town councillors heard that a schoolboy had been assaulted by a youth, there were three cases of shoplifting and a report of a domestic assault.
Two rubbish bins were set alight, plants were pulled up and an object was thrown at a door. These three crimes were still under investigation.
Members were told that anti-social behaviour in Porthleven had risen to “medium” and that “numerous” anti-social behaviour warnings had been issued to youths.
