Penzance Olympic hero Helen Glover has received her MBE from the Queen at a ceremony at Windsor Castle.
London 2012 Olympian Helen Glover, joined by her rowing partner Heather Stanning, won gold in coxless pairs, at last summer's games, the first athletes to pick up gold at the games.
Their coach Robin Williams was also awarded an MBE.
Helen said the honour was not something she "ever considered getting", adding: "What it has done is highlight how much the nation enjoyed the Games and how big it was for the nation, because for us getting our gold was a really personal thing."
