A new exhibition Making Layers features the work of four Cornish based artists, including evocative glass by Jane Chetwynd, Claire Armitage’s exquisite textile pieces, Jacqueline Clark’s beautiful ceramics and whimsical automata and jewellery by Esther Smith. Although each artist explores a different medium, their work is subtly linked by the layers of narrative, materiality and process embodied within each piece.
Expect to see work that will both delight and inspire. The exhibition is aptly timed for the lead up to the festive season, providing an opportunity to purchase truly unique gifts.
