It was encouraging to see new names featured in the honours list at the club's competition night when Adrian Roland (Truro), who had been introduced by chairman Dean Evans, gave judgement on a wealth of creditable entries in both print and projected images, some of which contained the latest craze of HDR and Topaz elements.

Names coming to the fore were Jerry Curtis, Dean Evans, Barry Kelly and Trevor Wright whose works of art were accorded deserved premier honours.

The set subject of "Harbour Lights" brought a rash of harbour scenes at night, but the chairman's projected fish and chip outlet left his opponents floundering. Sue Hutchings thanked the judge for his time and effort in placing the many entries.
