Firefighters have battled a blaze at a workshop at Tregaswith, St Columb overnight.
Appliances from St Columb, St Dennis two appliances from Newquay, a water carrier from Wadebridge, alongside support vehicles from St. Austell and St. Just were drafted in just after 3am to help tackle the flames at the engineering workshop.
A spokesman said that the whole detached building, measuring 15 metres by eight metres,was on fire, with two high pressure hosereels and two main jets used.
By 5am the fire was being fought from the outside of the building due to cylinders potentially involved.
By 6am the incident was scaled down with some appliances returning to their home stations.
