Police are appealing for witnesses after a young man was assaulted in Truro on Saturday morning and subsequently awoke without his trousers.
The 22 year old victim from Truro was walking home near Kenwyn Mews, between midnight and 1.30am on December 21, after being out for the evening with friends.
Police said: "Whilst walking home he was approached by unknown persons and was assaulted, receiving a minor injury to his head. The victim believes the persons had got out of a vehicle.
"The following morning he re- traced his steps and located his trousers and a shoe. On checking his pockets his mobile phone and wallet had been stolen.
"He is unsure exactly what had occurred and police are trying to piece together his movements."
There was a small amount of cash, plus cards, in the wallet, and the phone is a Samsung Galaxy S3.
