Penryn’s first carnival in about seven years is being planned for this summer, and volunteers and ideas are being sought by the town council.
A meeting is to be held at 7pm next Wednesday, January 22, in the council chamber to discuss the way forward.
The carnival will be held on July 19 and as well as entrants, organisers are hoping to attract volunteers to act as marshals for the event.
Anyone wanting more information should contact Penryn Town Council’s office on 01326 373086.
