The appeal into the refusal of plans to redevelop Falmouth Wharves off North Parade is to begin in Truro this morning, May 7.
An informal hearing, before an inspector appointed by the Secretary of State, will be held in the council chamber at Carrick House in Pydar Street, from 10am.
Representatives from local businesses, neighbouring residents and the town council will attend to re-affirm their opposition to the proposals which include the demolition of existing buildings and the creation of a mixed-use development of a 14 bedroom hotel, 44 flats and 20 light industrial/workshop units.
Should the development go ahead? Have your say below.
