A competition that challenges artists to capture the “Spirit of Porthleven” is open for entries for the fourth year running.
For the first time artists can select their own locations to paint, which the organisers hope will result in an even greater variety of work.
All entries will be exhibited and for sale at Porthleven’s old lifeboat house, which has been turned into a gallery, the Lifeboat Art Studio.
This year the panel of judges includes artists Neil Pinkett and Paul Lewin, who will be selecting the art works that most reflect the unique qualities of Porthleven.
The closing date for entries is June 26, with the exhibition on view from June 28 until July 6.
