Police in Truro are appealing for witnesses and information after an attempted robbery in the city.
Some time between 5pm and 5.30pm last Friday, a woman was walking near the Londis store on Penwerris Road, Truro, when she was approached by a man who tried to snatch her mobile phone.
The victim was not hurt during the incident and did not have her phone taken, but was left shaken.
The offender is described as a white man with a pale complexion, aged 18 to 22 years, 5ft 7 ins tall and of slim build.
He had dark hair, a scruffy appearance and was wearing a dark T-Shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may know the offender.
