An election will take place for the Mabe, Perranarworthal and St Gluvias seat on Cornwall Council Election on July 17.
The seat is up for grabs after Michael Keogh, a UKIP member on Cornwall Council, resigned citing “personal circumstances”
The five candidates nominated for the election are:
• John Anthony Ault, Penryn (Liberal Democrats)
• Linda Margaret Hitchcox, Mawnan Smith (Labour Party)
• Karen Sumser-Lupson, Mitchell, Newquay (Mebyon Kernow – The Party For Cornwall)
• Pete Tisdale, Longdowns (UK Independence Party UKIP)
• Peter Williams, Perranarworthal (The Conservative Party Candidate)
