Early communion on Sunday was conducted by the Rev Geoffrey Thorpe, who was also the preacher for morning worship, led by Gina Risby.

Bible readings from Genesis chapter 17 and Romans chapter 4 were by Paul Brown and Gina Risby. Mr Thorpe spoke dwindling membership in the Methodist Church and listed three principles, which must be present for God to renew us. We need to learn to think outside the box of traditions and customs. We must express generous hospitality and embrace radical change.

David Wingham was the pianist and Colin Combellack operated the computer system.

Next week’s preacher will be David Pascoe and our Junior Church members will be visiting their friends at Breaney.
