Plans to build a two storey, four bedroom detached house and a detached triple entry garaged at Bosilliac in Penwarne Road, Mawnan Smith, have been rejected by Cornwall Council.
It was felt the proposed development would result in an isolated home in the countryside, divorced from any recognised settlement, and would fail to protect or enhance the countryside, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and result in “sporadic and unnecessary development, harmful to the rural setting.”
