Helston will be full of the sound of music this year as one of the town's choir plans to expand its membership.
Grace Barnes, long-term member of the Helston and Kerrier Music Society, called for new members to join the group and give their support to a number of "ambitious" programmes over the coming year.
Mrs Barnes said: "Sopranos, altos, tenors and basses - you're all welcome. Don't worry if you're a bit rusty. We are a friendly lot, with an enthusiastic choir master and a first rate accompanist."
The choir is hoping to build on the successes of last year, with their Christmas concert a runaway success. They practice in Helston Community College's music block and perform at St Michael's Church.
