Mullion were forced to play with 10 ladies from the start and Goonhavern started well and opened the scoring within the first five minutes, Danni Small lobbing the 'keeper.
Goonhavern doubled their lead 20 minutes later with Rose Knuckey striking the ball cleanly from eighteen metres.
Mullion applied pressure and were awarded a free kick, which was comfortably saved by Goonhavern 'keeper Natalie Philips.
Goonhavern added their third in the 39th minute when Sarah Mansfield whipped in a fierce volley only enabling the Mullion 'keeper to get her finger-tips to the ball.
One minute later Kat Dawe made a good run crossing the ball to Sarah Mansfield who scored Goonhavern's their fourth.
The second half started with both teams sharing possesion, but Mullion battled back showing fight and determintaion.
The game was marred when Dee Parker was taken to hospital in the air ambulance with a suspected broken leg.
Goonhavern retained a very solid defence.
