There was a nautical but nice air in Falmouth town centre on Friday afternoon as the crews of the Tall Ships paraded through from Events Square to the Moor and back.
Costumes ranged from the impeccably turned out crew of the Polish ship Dar Mlodziezy, through the inevitable pirate fancy dress, to the captain and officers of the Queen Galadriel in wedding dress and bridesmaids finery.
