The preacher at Sunday morning worship was Irene Sampson from Marazion, who spoke about the Parable of the Sower in Matthew’s gospel. David Philp was the organist.
Evening worship was led by Pastor Bill Reed, who also took his theme from Matthew’s gospel, using the story of the debtor servant in Chapter 18. Organist was Paul Brown. Sunday will be Harvest Festival and all are welcome. The preacher on Sunday morning will be Shirley Wearne and in the evening David Pascoe will lead worship. There will be a special coffee morning on Monday with a sale of surplus fruit after gifts have been distributed to the sick and elderly.
On Thursday, September 25 the Men’s Choir will commence practising for Harvest of the Sea. Any men who enjoy singing (and can keep in tune) are most welcome to come along and join the choir for this special annual occasion.
