Students from Truro College's National Diploma in Health Studies have raised £207.16 for the Foundation for the Study of Infant Death.
The Foundation is the UK's leading baby charity aiming to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy and promote infant health.
The money was raised through a sponsored walk around Falmouth, from the Packet Station Pub on the Moor, up to Pendennis Point and back. A collection was also made along the way.
The students presented a cheque to Carrie Langford from the FSID, who also gave a talk on the work of the Foundation for the Study of Infant Death.
Tony Patnick, lecturer at the college, said "The girls from the National Diploma in Health Studies worked tremendously hard to get the money in from sponsorship and collections. They were helped by having the only fine sunny day so far this year to walk around Falmouth!"
