The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for low lying areas of Cornwall as high tides combine with strong winds.
The agency says that high astronomic spring tides are combining with moderate surge from Wednesday evening until Thursday evenings high tide.
Adding: "This will lead to increased flood risk to low lying areas. We expect to issue Flood Warnings for Wednesday evening, as tide levels, wind and waves increase. Environment Agency staff will be monitoring water levels and sea defences.
The alert applies to the area from Land's End to Plymouth including Mounts Bay, Porthleven, Fowey, Looe and Plymouth, and from Lands End to Hartland Point including St Ives Bay, Perranporth, Padstow and Bude.
